The Instructional program is designed primarily for beginning hockey players. Players ages 4-18 are welcome. Please keep in mind that players aged 4-6 should have some basic skating instruction before participating in Instructional Hockey (please email Coach Schmidt if you are unsure if your child is ready for the instructional program). The program emphasizes hockey skating skills and stick handling with an introduction to the game of ice hockey in the latter part of the program. The sessions are usually 60 minutes and are usually held on Sundays.
The first 6-week session of Instructional Hockey is FREE for rookies (regularly $90). Space is limited. USA Hockey Registration is required of all skaters.
Summer Session begins 7/11/2010 and runs for 6 Sundays from 10:45 - 11:45 AM.
