SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS

Scholarship funds are available to players participating with the Bowie Hockey Club. Contact the BHC Registrar for additional information.

Rita Holding Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund is provided by the family of Rita Holding and is awarded to a player each season that displays team leadership and good sportsmanship both on and off the ice. The scholarship is in the amount of $500.00. The applicant must have one reference from either a non-family member or a coach. Application form can be downloaded here and are due by September 1, 2010 to Dottie Simons at 15005 Nutcracker Place, Bowie, MD 20716

Klifford Snowden Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is provided by the Snowden Committee and is awarded to one or more travel players that otherwise could not afford to play travel hockey. The amount of the scholarship is based on the monetary need of the applicant(s). Download the application and mail to Dottie Simons at 15005 Nutcracker Place, Bowie, MD 20716 by September 1, 2010.

Kevin Stavely Scholarship Fund

The Kevin Stavely Scholarship fund is primarily for members of the Recreational program. Click here to download the application form and more information. Applications are due by October 1, 2010.
