Call to Order: 7:03 PM
Motion to Approve July Minutes, approved
Motion to Approve March Minutes, approved
Motion to Approve April Minutes, approved with one correction
Steve Buchanon from Buchanon Studios presented team photo package options.

Board Member Reports:

Vice President of Travel: (via email)

                        CBHL Meeting:
                           Age Rule Requirements – Bowie voted against the rule
                           Waivers to the age rule requirement
                           Schedulers meeting 9/18
                           New Score sheets – carbon, legal size, north to south

Vice President of Recreation and Instruction

Working with Jay Huntington and Clark Mowry on program for instructional
Rec coaches approved
3. Vice President of Finance
Finance report printed and distributed

Secretary -

Team Managers Meeting the week before Aston
Paperwork for Team Manager books will be grouped by player and not by form.

Treasurer/Director of Membership-

Dues are coming in.

Director of Sponsorships

Got some golf sponsors, looking for more
Carrie is helping with designing flyers
Checking into sponsors on scrolling marquis
Golf tourney and rec registration needs to go up on our website.

Director of Special Events –

Need contacts for Rec players to get the word out about Open House
Registration system for Open House to get a head count for players and family members

8. Head Coach –
Contacted by a former Bowie player interested in coaching, working with Carl to find an assistant position
U16 teams have been combined
Some U18 defections, did pick up one additional player
             9. Scheduler –
September practice schedule posted, no need for ice at other rinks
October schedule will be finalized after more rec players are registered
CBHL schedule started, approximately 25% done
Scheduling non-league games with DVHL teams
Scheduling instructional sessions
            10. Equipment Manager (report given by President)
                        Sweatshirts will be gold/yellow this year
                        Limited edition pink hoodies – proceeds will be donated to a breast cancer charity
                        Jen suggested new images on store website to better portray products
             11. Webmaster –
BHC tournament registration is on-line, $200 deposit and balance due by January 15^th
All age divisions will have A and B levels, except for U16 and U18 will just have A level
Teams will receive 100% of tournament program ad funds

President –

Metroliners have folded. Thursday ice slots will open up. Looking at one 90 minute practice a week for midgets.
Venturaphotographers want to come to us with a presentation for club/team pictures
Clinics – will look at available ice and the cost of who is coming out
Bylaws – go through a couple section at a time, do mark up on computer
